Post-race activities will include music, lunch, face painting and a bounce house for the kids, and an awards ceremony.
We will again partner with the G.R.O.W.(Giving, Readiness, Opportunity, and Wellness) program in the Binghampton and Berclair neighborhoods to sponsor children in our community to run the race for free. If you are a paid registrant and are interested in being a buddy runner (running the 5k with a sponsored child to provide motivation and encouragement) please contact email@example.com.
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the race, please contact:

What the JLM is doing to change the trend:
The possibilities for making a positive impact on Memphis neighborhoods are endless. The JLM will revitalize neighborhoods through programs and partnerships, hands-on service and advocacy. JLM hopes to play a strategic role in facilitating conversations among community organizations, leaders and other stakeholders, in order to determine how JLM can address the unique needs of each community we serve. And the day-to-day work in these communities could include everything from beautification to tutoring to meal service, or any other activity that improves and enhances the daily lives of Memphians.
Rain or shine, we'll be running to end childhood obesity!
